Prospect New Orleans is pleased to announce its newest public art commission, Artists of Public Memory. This inaugural initiative invites artists born and/or based in Louisiana to share their visions of how symbols, monuments, and collective memories can appear and function in our landscape, society, and public space.

Prospect New Orleans is proud to announce the appointment of Taylor Holloway as Deputy Director. Holloway, who has a background in architecture, social impact strategy, and studio art, first joined Prospect in the summer of 2008, working as a welder and preparator during Prospect.1. Holloway returned to Prospect in 2021 as the first ever Manager of Programs and Audience Engagement.

Prospect.6 will take place from November 2, 2024 – February 2, 2025 at venues across New Orleans. Committed to building an international conversation around issues germane to Louisiana, Co-Artistic Directors Miranda Lash and Ebony G. Patterson have formed a Curatorial Advisory Committee consisting of Ron Bechet, Zoe Butt, Raphael Fonseca, Tumelo Mosaka, Krista Thompson, and Dyani White Hawk.
